Behavior Expectations/Standards:
1) Complete all classwork and submit on time!
2) Ask questions in class if you don't understand:
Students with a D or F in the class are required to ask questions to show an effort to improve AND should be taking extra notes, and studying those notes daily. If this is not being done the student will likely earn a "Needs improvement" or "Unsatisfactory" for their citizenship grade.
3) Offer answers and offer explanations when the teacher asks the class a question
4) Maintain a math spiral bound notebook which has a proper heading on each page:
Name, Date, Period, Title on the contents on the page (Investigation # + Investigation name) or notes or name of videos and the notes from the tutorial videos. The Investigation pages should include the following:
A) problem #
B) the problem/diagrams
C) process student used to solve
D) answer to the problem
E) any questions the student had while completing the problem
5) Follow the posted online rules of being respectful to everyone and following classroom rules.
6) Entering the class on time - A student is tardy if the student is not in their seat by the time the beginning bell stops ringing. If the classroom door has not been opened for students to enter the classroom, students are expected to stand in one of the two lines directed by the teacher the first couple weeks of school.

Citizenship Grades
Each student’s citizenship grade is based upon their daily classroom behavior which includes: 1) following classroom rules, participation, and appropriate attitude. Each explore teacher tracts student behavior according to the established classroom rules. In the grading scale below, you will notice that there is an overlap between “O” and “S”. The reason for the overlap is some students may be well behaved but they exhibit average classroom participation &/or attitude. These students would earn an “S”. On the other hand, if a student has made two behavior mistakes in class but has an excellent attitude and has high participation, then that student can earn an “O”.
If a student owes sentences and the grading period is over, they must be turned in the last day of the trimester or if senteces were earned that last day of the trimester, they they must be turned in the first day of the new trimester. If not, the student's behavior grade will be Unsatisfactory!
